Curated Collective was founded in 2022 by Amanda Durand, a photographer and local lover. Amanda saw a need to bring small businesses together for a well organized, curated market with an amazing atmosphere in the Parkland County area.

The first Curated Collective local market took place in spring of 2022 in Stony Plain. It was a huge success with over 50 vendors, 1500+ attendees, and amazing feedback from both vendors and shoppers. 

Shortly after Amanda’s sister, Nicole Pomerleau, joined Amanda as her business partner.

In 2023 Curated Collective hosted markets at stunning and unique event venues, including Sparrow Lane (Spruce Grove), Lakeview Events (Barrhead), and MVMT+ Yoga Collective (Spruce Grove). So far, in 2024, they’ve hosted their largest, small business market yet in Stony Plain at the Heritage Park Pavilion with over 60 vendors.

Amanda and Nicole strive to create beautifully curated markets in unique venue spaces, that support small businesses and offer an incredible experience for vendors and guests.
